Beautiful Candles
I bought 2 of the large and 3 of the small candles (with remote) to use with my Hacienda Candlesticks and the candle rings. The large ones looked beautiful ( however, one arrived broken), but the smaller ones were too small and disappeared into the candle rings. As always, Grandin Road customer service was excellent and assisted me with a replacement and return on the smaller ones.

Candles
They look lovely when lit. I bought 5 for the 5 gold candlesticks as displayed in catalogue. They weren't all delivered at the same time. My only disappointment is that the two shorter/smaller ones had scrapes and small gauges in the "wax". Also the gold application was uneven (making them not look as nice when lit) compared to the larger ones I received.The one thing that is also not that smooth is when inserting the batteries. There is also ribbon that goes between the batteries so that when you want to take them out you pull the ribbon. However, there was one where the ribbon was too short. Overall they do look lovely when lit. Oh, and getting the remote is a given!

Pretty, but inconsistent flame
These candles look great, but one of them either "flickers" like a strobe light unit I reset it, or just goes very dim after being on for about 5 minutes. Disappointed in the quality given the price.

Iced Metallic Battery Operated Candle
What a beautiful candle. Flickering like real. The remote ,you order separately, lets you switch from to non-flicker to flickering. They look so real and the metallic look is very festive looking. Each one takes 4 AA batteries. Don't forget to order the batteries and the remote.

Very versatile
These candles are beautiful. Now that the Fall season is beginning, I have them paired with the gold Hacienda candleholders and the Finley candle rings. They are stunning; so rich looking. The candle with its timer and variety of settings is easy to set and forget. I have this candle in several colors not only to match the decor but also because of the ease of using it. I am replacing the other candles I have with this candle.

Bad Design
I ordered six of the Iced Metallic Candles. The three large ones you cannot see the light unless you look directly down into the candle. They were all scratched and the gold is flaking off the candles around the top. I am very disappointed in the quality for the price.

They finally came after a couple of rescheduling of shipping them. They looked a little roughed up and really not worth the price. Maybe it was just my shipment that looked like this.

I love, love the look of the candle, however I set the candle for "timer" and "4 hours". The candle remains on and does not turn off. I have used it twice and twice the candle does not turn off after 4 hours.

don't match
I ordered 3 6" and 2 4" candles and when I received they do not match. The larger ones were pale gold while the smaller ones were brilliant gold which I prefered.
i decided to return these and re-order them to see if the new ones matched and they were the same as 1st order. I have returned these and purchased candles locally to match candle rings.

I have purchased similar candles in the fall and Christmas colors, but evidently missed the gold colored. Very pleased with them when I received my order. Waiting until Christmas to decorate with them but thinking they may stay out all year. Have never been disappointed with any candles I have purchased in the past, love the timers, don't worry about forgetting a"real" candle.
