Assembly was about 30 min for each of the chairs (just me) and 10 min for the footstool. The chairs are much more comfortable than a standard Adirondack chair. The angle is less pronounced and the padding is very comfortable. They've been rained on and didn't hold the water. We're very pleased with the set.
