1- does the height of 19 inches include the handles sticking up or is it just the basket height itself. And 2- is the basket soft and slouchy or stiff and firm enough to hold umbrellas, etc.
Thank you for your interest in our Kilim Basket. The 19-1/4"H does not include the handles, it is too soft to hold things like umbrellas, it is not recommended to use this item as an umbrella stand.

Beautiful basket
I ordered this basket to hold rolled up throws. It looks beautiful! I love the size and the ability to expand to handle all the throws when not in use. Great addition to our lodge - pub style bunkhouse.

Good workmanship and quality
The basket arrived flattened out so I have been working to reshape it. It seems to be responding. The quality of the fabric and workmanship seem high. I like the leather handles. The colors seem true to the picture. I'm excited to put it to work!

Very nice
this lovely basket/storage bag is not only the perfect decor but useful. I put magazines and my notebooks along with 2 books near my chair. it looks great along with other Grandin Road pillows. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the idea!

Versatile and attractive
Well-made and very attractive basket. I was hoping to use it as a container for the fiddle-leaf tree I purchased at the same time, but it’s much too large for that. So, instead, I’m using it to store linens for a pullout sofa in our game room. Perfect. Will also be great for beach towels or toys.
