When the bench arrived it was packaged VERY well. It was fully assembled. And it was flawlessly beautiful. This isn't just a bathroom bench . . . it is a beautiful, substantial piece of teak furniture. Explicit instructions were included on options for letting it age naturally or preserving its color. Very happy with this purchase!!
