Not really a quilt
Not as heavy as a nice quilt should be. Stitching is straight-line only, not really “quilted”. Would not purchase again.

I bought this bedspread in January after seeing it in the catalog. I am so happy I did. I love it and it is just the right pop of color to brighten my room. I get lots of compliments. I just have to remember to have the birds right side up!

Ooooh, that color!
This quilt is more than I dared hope for! Large, lovely and colorful! It's well made, no hanging strings and plenty large for my king sized bed with deep mattress. The reverse is white with blue designs and is equally gorgeous....but I have dogs which means blue side up!
Did not shrink or fade when washed.
Blue color is almost like a Batik dye. It's simply gorgeous.

Fades in cold water washing
Beautiful, soft and comfy quilt, but I washed it on cold when I got it, and the blue faded. I have washed it two more times, on cold, and it continues to fade. The blue has not run onto the white. It looks like faded denim, which isn’t bad, but just be aware that it won’t stay popping blue.
