Beautiful!
This is really a beautiful piece of art. Before purchasing I looked at the negative reviews and was hesitant. I went ahead and purchased it, despite the reviews because it was such a great price. I am glad I did. I don't know why people complained about gold being all of the painting, I didn't have that problem at all. The gold was exactly where it was supposed to be. I loved the painting so much I bought another one for my sister for Christmas.

Absolutely love it
I was nervous purchasing after reading so many negative comments but the sale price was to good to resist. Perhaps some quality control issues were worked out since many of these reviews were posted, but the product I received is exactly what I expected.

Beautiful but more grayish lavender than true blue
Lovely over my old stone fireplace, but it's definitely not the color pictured here. My background color is Sherwin Williams Tradewind (light blue) and this color would have been perfect but it was grayish lavender. Still, love it.

Flaky gold
This piece looked perfect online for our new coastal place. If I could I would return it. But purchasing on clearance (Over priced) prevents that option. :( the colors are nice, however the big disappointment is in the gold foiling. It is flaking gold over the entire canvas. I will have to try to repair what is left of the gold in the spot where it’s supposed to be…. Hope that works!!

I LOVE this artwork and I love the Grandin Road shopping experience. Unfortunately, on this purchase, I found the gold leafing to be incomplete and it distracted from the beauty of the piece. I can actually see about 2 inches of the line used to guide the leafing process. It is bare and the leafing stops. I hope to replace the piece and that the new one would be with a complete gold leaf line. I still love the serenity captured and can feel totally relaxed with this in my SPA bathroom atmosphere and hate that the line is so noticeable it to takes away from it. Everyone does loves the artwork when I show it off and I love the gold leaf touch but for the price, the gold leafing needs be to applied to perfectly. Thank you, Grandin Road for working with me. I hope the new one will look complete and shine beautifully.

Not as described, poorly done
The "painted" gold accents are not painted, but poorly done gold foil that is flaking all over the surface. I would say this product is defective because of that. It would have been nice otherwise. It costs way too much to look like this. It's a lot of trouble to return, but back it goes.

Doesn't look as depicted
I am so disappointed. I just received this and it doesn't look at all like it did online. There is some strange gold element that looks like a preschooler added gold glitter in blobs. Not attractive at all! Also, this cost way too much in shipping.
