Moving 5' Halloween Tree is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Moving is a nice effect The moving of this tree creates a nice effect. The first one I received had a defective motor that grinded all the time, so I returned it. The second one the motor is much quieter but the overall design of the tree makes creaking noises, and I agree I don't think these are intestinal. I had to come out and look at the other reviews to see if others had the same issue, sure enough. It can be a bit loud sometimes, not necessarily a bad thing for Halloween, but can be a bit much after a while. Wish they would have made this for outdoor use not just covered outdoor use. It is overpriced, but most items on this website seem to be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Branching out for Halloween This Halloween tree is very interesting.....not only does it move and light up....it also creaks! The jury is still out on decorating it or leaving it plain as an accent piece....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Cool Halloween Decoration I purchased both tree heights. These are very cool trees. Love the branches and the overall look of the tree. They look like spooky trees. The lights are Halloween orange - not amber, or yellow, or light orange, but true Halloween orange! My only dislikes are the coating on the wires, which is typical of light strands, but it seemed like these were really coated. I also don't like the creaking sound. I think it is way too loud. I don't think the creaking sound is naturally part of the decoration. I think it squeaks/creaks due to the wires being pulled a little tightly as the tree moves. On one hand, it is cool because it somewhat sounds like a creaky tree moving with the wind. On the other hand, it is loud and rather grating on the nerves after awhile. We couldn't watch TV in the room it is in with the motor plugged in due to the noise. The creaking noise is way too much when the house is quiet with both trees moving!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Help What kind of electrical chord do I need to hook up to the lights for my Moving 5' Halloween tree? It needs a 2-prong receptacle with a twist connection. Where would I find such an odd cord?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wait until they improve this tree First one arrived and didn't light, replaced with another and the center was grey and ugly not wrapped with enough black garland to cover. The tree was also very dusty like perhaps it was a display or another return. The idea of this tree is great, but they need to keep working on it to make it better for this much $$$ it should be perfect and it's far from perfect. The branches are not quite sturdy enough to hold heavy or glass ornaments, be sure to secure any ornaments when the tree moves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never disappointed When pulled out of the box it looked like a black Christmas tree. Straightened the branches and looked more like Christmas. Bent the branches up again and plugged it in. It looks awesome now! Quality is outstanding, mechanism seems reliable and easy to pack and unpack. Sturdy box for storage. I could see someone using this as a Halloween tree with ornaments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I can't even tell you how much I love this tree! The movement is so unique and the lights are very orange. I was a little afraid the lights wouldn't be bright orange because they're described as Amber. It does make very loud creaky noises. I don't mind this because it's eerie for Halloween!

Do these trees have any glitter that fall off and make a mess everywhere? Thanks!
Asked by: Jen
not really, it's sparkly garland, not glitter. A few pieces of garland have come off but not a ton that makes a mess

Will the branches support small ornaments?

Asked by: LC
Yes! I have the spooky hollow tree from a few years ago and the branches are softer then this one and I have tons of ornaments on that one. This one can definitely hold ornaments.
