Faux Boxwood Garden Dog, Moxie is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 241.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute but fragile I agree that it is adorable and a perfect replica of our late golden doodle. I did spray it with gorilla glue adhesive spray, and then scotch craft protectant spray, in the hopes of it lasting. I’ll probably continue to respray every so often and hoping for the best! One star deducted because I could already see how easy it will be for it to unravel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Peabody dog Cute as heck for a concept and that’s what I fell in love with. But, overpriced even on sale. Faux greenery is light almost yellow in spots. Looks cheaply made. The greenery looks as though it’s dark in the pictures online but it is not. Would not suggest or buy again. I’m sure it will unravel if not kept from the sun or on a covered porch. I gave it two stars because of the concept.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Began to shed leaves after 2nd summer Very cute little dog. Spent summers out on deck and brought inside during the cold weather. It began to drop leaves after 2nd summer. Now, 3 years after purchase, wire under structure is showing and sticking out. I would have expected it to hold up better as it wintered inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even the mailman loves this dog! This dog is amazing. It's been 3 weeks and the mailman still grins, pats the dog on the head as the mail is delivered. Dogs walking by stop to growl or bark. It has presence and makes you smile. Would buy it again; as a matter of fact I may!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from oscars a hit! wow, is this little guy cute! he stands on my back patio porch and whenever anyone sees him they always tell me how cute he is. he puts a smile on everyone's face. just the right amount of whimsey...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute addition A wonderful, fun and unique addition to any home. Unfortunately it didn’t last long outdoors so under a porch or somewhere protected s best. It also won’t stand on its own so be prepared to keep it up against something for stability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life like faux garden dog I bought two different faux garden dogs and they are just awesome. The look real. I actually had a couple neighbors come up and ask me about them. They loved them as much as I do. I bought collars to put around the garden dogs. So cute, tasteful and unique.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peabody I bought this when my granddaughter Ninas dog Pepper died recently. she often brought him over and he would strike this pose!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love Dog/Hate quality The dog is adorable but it falls apart. The boxwood strips come off and it fades. I was going to spray paint it to bring back some life but I am afraid it is too far gone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brings smiles This my second Peabody, after years of bringing smiles to all that saw him he had to be retired. He is a whimsical addition to my out side devour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Naughty doggie This Faux Boxwood was my Mother's Day gift from my pets! We then added a faux potted red geranium, planted in a terra-cotta pot, so the doggie has something to aim at! It is staged near our front entry. We love this unique item!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super cute ! Albeit a very temporary decoration These darling dogs won’t last you very long at all- it’s an outdoor decoration that needs to be kept INDOORS!! All leaves are falling off in patchy areas

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great quality I bought Casey, Peabody and Moxie a couple of years ago and have had them on my back deck. I get high winds, but little snow in winter. Hot sun in summer. All of these dogs have held up beautifully for the last two years. My deck is covered. Peabody has his leg through the railing so he doesn't piddle on the wood deck. They are all adorable. I do recommend them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is the second one I have bought. First one a year or so ago. The first one was good but did get damage from weather. Order a new one and the front legs are too short and it will not stand up. If you bend the legs, it will stand awkwardly and unstable. Loved this dog, very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short-lived Showstopper I bought Casey almost two years ago and agree with most of the reviewers. The coloring has faded and he has lots of bald spots. In fairness, he was not placed under a covered porch and had protection only along the back side; nor did I attempt to bring him indoors during our mid-Atlantic winters. I also ended up inserting a 6 foot stake (through the shoulder blades and between the front paws, as well as anchor stakes over each rear paw (the u-shaped stakes used for tents) which worked well. After all this I am grudgingly buying him again because he’s so darn cute. But I do wish he’d held out a bit longer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but falling apart after less than a year Every time you touch them they shed green leaves. For the price should be more durable

Rated 1 out of 5 by from looses 'leaves' after a year Loved the dog, made me smile when I came home. He was left outside for a year. Then he started loosing his 'leaves'. Now he is pretty bare. Not worth the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR QUALITY I’ve had Moxie & Casey for awhile now but, Casey started coming apart early on. Moxie’s greenery became brittle soon after and falls off if touched. They are under a protected porch with little to no sun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute but fragile Received many compliments from neighbors. Put on front porch late Spring through Summer. Held up well through weather elements (porch gets partial sun light). But did start to come unraveled when I moved it. Had to glue greenery back on to form. Midwest weather, stored it for Fall & Winter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but falling apart I fell in love with this dog and bought before we even finished building house. Couldn’t wait to put him up. However if you touch it the plastic petals fall off. It is under a sheltered porch so the only answer I have for this is it gets the morning sunrise but still for the money should have lasted longer than 4 month. Very sad. Not even sure I’ll be able to take it back out and use next summer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Update I love these dogs and neighbors and passerby’s always stop and comment or ask if they can take pictures. Problem is after just after about a year they have shed their leaves. Very disappointing looking very rag tagged. We’re very expensive. Wish they would have weathered better. We even brought them indoors everynight

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This design is darling, but the quality is terrible. I put it out at the start of spring and it was brought in early fall. It is placed in an area that receives very little direct sunlight. Even with this placement, the "boxwood" has started the fade in color and become brittle. For this price point I expected it to hold up better. I am incredibly disappointed with this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Peabody, Casey and Moxie I am SOOOOO UPSET!!! I ordered the set just last year with the intention of including them in my outside seasonal decor. I am an avid dog lover!!!! The boxwood has almost completely shedded, torn up and fell apart on Peabody. Casey is tearing up and shedding leaves. Moxie is the only one that is holding up. She has had a few leaves to shed. They are so expensive, I thought they would last along time and bought them just over a year ago in July of 2018

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I loved these, purchased 2 and only put them outside in the summer months in the shade. They faded right from the get go. Should be indoor only. Disappointed for the cost. I also added my own additional artificial boxwood when they arrived to cover thin spots. They are adorable just not durable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Money Sadly I wish I read the reviews before buying as I see others have the same issue with Casey. Love him, but less than a year old and all the greenery is falling off and he has never been in direct sun. I paid less last year for Casey and I see they raised the price; not worth it for quality. I'm bummed:(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SAD! I bought this 2 years ago. It is only outside in the spring and summer. Should last longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware! These do not hold up! I had all of them and they fell apart within 6 months! Customer service told me a new company was making them and those lasted only 4 months! Beware

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lasted about 18 months Lasted about 18 months before the leaves started falling off. We kept them under a covered brick porch and stored them inside during the winter months. For as expensive as they are, I would have expected more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peabody & Moxie These two cuties greet all upon entering my courtyard. I gave each of them their own collar, which adds to their charm. Such a great conversation piece and an unexpected surprise with naughty lil Peabody lifting his leg on my pillar! LOL I have purchased 3 Peabody as gifts for friends as he can put a smile on anyone's face. :o) (Just be aware to not place them where sun will directly hit on them for extended periods of time, or you will have fading)

Love these dogs. However;by all your posted reviews, they don't seem to hold up well. The one common denominator is that they were all placed outside. Most were not in the sun. How do they hold up,if they are displayed indoors?

I am interested in the Casey dog but measurements seem huge. Could you check and make sure those measurements are correct?  41 inches wide sounds huge. Thank you.
