Placement of the planters
They are beautiful & you can purchase shorter ones than the other design. They do not have to be under a window. I have mine on either side of my garage door and they look fantastic. Once the flowers grow slightly they will match the larger one I have under a window on same side of house even though they are different patterns. No one would ever notice they are not exact same design.

My new Nantucket window boxes are right on point. My home is 100-plus years old and the boxes look like the were originally planned by an architect to be there. They fit in perfectly! I'm thrilled. (I'd send pics but they're not planted yet...but just you wait!

How many holes does one need to drill into the house, to hang a 4', 3', and 2' box? We live in an old brick-facade townhouse, and our homeowners association wants us to be careful about not drilling too many holes into the old bricks.

Will the box sit flush against a vertical wall? We have lots of birds in our area, and they tend to nest behind shutters. I want to make sure there is no room for them to nest behind the flower boxes.
