Perfect!
He is a good height, beautiful colors, sturdy and so cute. Missed out on him last year and made sure I jumped in early to receive him. Looking forward to putting him on guard!

LOVE Norman
I always imagined having two nutcrackers this size, but found that I prefer having some empty space keeps me sane in my small space. Norman is brightly colored, bold, and heavy/high quality. He came packed insanely well. The box and styrofoam are perfect for packing him back up for storage (none of that cheap packaging that gets shredded and falls apart). He sits next to our tree.

I have wanted a large nutcracker forever. My husband bought Norman for me for Christmas. He is beautiful. The colors are vibrant, he is heavy, and high quality. What a wonderful gift!

Spectacular!
I believe that I researched every 5’ Nutcracker available before I decided to purchase “Norman” from Grandin Road. He arrived today and I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. The Nutcracker is extremely well packaged ensuring that he will arrive at your home in perfect condition. He has too many beautiful features to mention so I will only review a few. The Harlequin hat is perfectly proportioned and features a gold rope and tassel. The hair, mustache and goatee are full and luxurious. His coat is cinched with a thick black belt that sports a gold buckle. The drum that Norman stands on sets him apart from other Nutcrackers; it is over a foot tall and painted red with dozens and dozens of gold buttons.
All in all, this is a spectacular item.

Looks good in dim lighting from 5', sloppy paint.
Had I seen this in person, wouldn't have bought - especially for the price. Needs lots of touch-up work, will probably return. Overpriced for the quality. One good thing is that it's not very heavy so easy to move around.
