Not a nutcracker in truth but...
I bought this dapper looking guard who is misleadingly described as a "nutcracker" but he is not a nutcracker because he doesn't have the moving mouth --which is what makes a nutcracker a "nutcracker". But I knew that fact when I purchased him. The good news is he arrived quickly and was very well packed; he arrived without any blemish. His paint job is nicely done, very shiny. I was able to purchase this Christmas decor piece during a special Grandin Road sale which lowered his cost substantially--otherwise I would not have bought him because at his current sale price, I feel he is overpriced. Bottom line is he is cute, substantial, overall a nice accent piece but watch for those special sales....it does make a difference between feeling like, "good value for the money" OR "oh no, I paid too much".
