What dimensions are the little compartments, can i fit the original boxes the ornaments are in?

Is this item suppose to come with a lovely fabric overlay as pictured to protect the ornaments?
It's supposed to according to the photos and written description, but unfortunately it does not. You will get hard cardboard dividers, with no protective fabric lining.

Ornament storage bag
It is perfect!!! I can store all my delicate ornaments in separate areas and it has plenty of room for absolutely everything on my 7FT tree! It also has great handles to carry to storage & I was lucky enough to get it with a discount...I am considering purchasing another one for other household items to store in it also. Definitely worth it!!!

High quality. My ornaments are safe.
This is very sturdy and I’ve got complete confidence in its ability to keep my ornaments safe. There’s plenty of room for different sized ornaments - I always end up leaving out a partition here or there to accommodate the really big ornaments. This is quite an expensive item for what it is but I’ve invested a lot in my ornaments, so the storage needs to be of a high quality. I highly recommend this.
