Is this item suppose to come with a lovely fabric overlay as pictured to protect the ornaments?
It's supposed to according to the photos and written description, but unfortunately it does not. You will get hard cardboard dividers, with no protective fabric lining.

Christmas ornament storage
This ornament storage box is sturdy and has ample room for all of our ornaments. I love the lift out trays that make it easy to carry to the tree for decorations. I was especially pleased with Grandin Roads response when 2 parts were missing. I had a prompt response and received the missed parts quickly.

A MUST purchase
Perfect to store our precious ornaments. Love that each individual ornament. Plenty of room for larger ornaments and if you want to wrap each ornament with bubble wrap it will fit in the individual spot!! Sturdy and easy to carry.

Great storage solutions
Love this storage solution for my ornaments! The trays are sturdy and the ornament holders are a good size so I actually have 2 (or more) ornaments in some of them. For really large ornaments, I took out a divider so I had 3 large-size spaces. The front pocket is handy for my beaded garland tubes. This is my first year using and I feel like it will last for quite some time.

Great organizer
This is exactly what I needed and wanted for my Christmas ornaments. It’s compact,clean, neat and a great organizer. I emptied three smaller boxes into this one container. I love it and would highly recommend it to keep your ornaments organized, clean and easy to get too. The lift out trays are great and I was able to make room for a few larger items by simply taking out one of the dividers. Overall, this item is easy to set up and does the job.

Love it!
I bought the ornament keeper to protect ornaments that have sentimental value. I had room for all of my ornaments and room for more. I also bought 2 wreath storage containers. Loved them, too. I ordered 2 more so I can store my seasonal wreaths.

Fabulous ornament storage
Great quality, the slots are a larger size I can fit 2-3 ornaments in one depending on whether Or not they are fragile and it Fits my large ornaments great. I also love the fact that there is a zipper pocket in the front, for extra Christmas decor (least that’s what I use it for!)

Very organized ornaments
Got this to reorganize and safely pack away tree ornaments. I had gotten one for DIL 2 years ago and realized how well this worked. Pricey - but it fit everything in there and I expect to use it forever!

Great Organizer!
I don't know why I waited so long to buy something like this. After reviewing many options online, this one seemed like the best buy for the money. We've now packed away Christmas stuff and I'm very pleased with the purchase. It was very easy to assemble, sturdy, and able to hold many items. It's not cheap but it's worth it. I expect to have it for many years to come.

Best ornament keeper ever!
Love this ornament keeper. It’s not too heavy and holds my larger ornaments nicely. I was even able to put two regular/standard size bulbs together in one section when needed. I’ve had one of these for years but always wanted another and I must say the new one is much improved. It weighs much less and holds larger ornaments than the old version. Don’t waste your money on the less expensive ornament holder boxes, this is much higher quality than any you will find in the big box stores. You definitely get what you pay for here.

Sturdy and roomy
I'm just taking down my tree and using this for the first time. So glad i got this. I was using cardboard storage box which was very flimsy and not good for larger ornaments. This is perfect! And so much more durable and attractive than cardboard.

Great ornament storage chest
I bought one of these to store some very fragile glass ornaments that are slightly larger than the standard 3" size. I'm so happy with it! It's excellent quality, with three foldable trays that have fabric-covered cross-pieces. The spaces in the dividers are generously-sized, so I had no problem with my larger ornaments fitting easily in them. Since the canvas shell is heavy-duty, so once all the ornaments are in it, it can be a bit heavy. However, it has handles one each end, so I was able to manage it. I plan to buy a second one.

I absolutely love this ornament box! Wish I had bought it sooner. It holds all my ornaments and I have a lot. Before I had all these little boxes which were a real pain and they were falling apart. This is totally worth every penny.
