LOVE!!!
I had ordered these and was on a waitlist....definitely worth the wait. I ordered the 6.5" and the 10". Received them in time for the holidays. I installed the batterries and set them on my semi-covered porch on the day after Thanksgiving and brought them indoors January 2nd .... the same batteries are still going strong! I love these! Will order more!

Purchased the 6.5” smaller globes. Very satisfied! I have each one in tall planters with wispy greenery surrounding them. Description mentions they come with “optional” timer. I guess it’s built in because they come on by themselves. Love this feature!

Nice patio light.
Wipes clean, rain did not impact it and I haven’t had to change the batteries yet. I ordered a large size when I ordered the one I have but it is back ordered for some months.

Are they waterproof? Can you float them in a pool?
No. There is a battery lid on the bottom of the sphere held in place with 6 mini screws. Ok for general weather, but I seriously doubt it would survive a pool.

What makes them illuminate
I have the 10” sphere. It takes 3 C batteries.

Can the balls stay in place during windy moments? Do they have any sort of weight inside or the balls are so light that any wind would make them go/fly?
It’s not weighted. It will stay in place in a moderate breeze, but I thought I might run a string or ribbon under the battery lid to secure it from beneath.

How do the spheres illuminate ? Is it solar
Catalog says it plugs in. And timer function. But I see nothing on the website that says this. I will not order them if they are solar. Solar never lasts. I want to use them on a screened in porch.
