VERY Heavy Base!
This base is great quality! Very heavy, and the shaft is higher, so it really holds the umbrella steady. We purchased an 8' x 10' umbrella also, and wanted to make sure we had a larger base to hold it. We were not disappointed!

Nice Stand!
I purchased 2 of these to use with 9 ft. umbrellas - because my umbrellas are so big I also purchased the extra 30# weights that pair with these stands. It gets pretty windy where we are sometimes so the added weight gives me piece of mind that these won't blow over.
I got the champagne color to match the champagne umbrella pole (black and sand striped canopies) and they look beautiful together
The stand itself is very pretty and heavy.
They are a little pricey but I think worth it!

Very heavy~!
I purchased this a month ago and it's replacing an OLD umbrella stand. First, I like that it has (2) screw in supports and my old one had only (1). It keeps my umbrella very steady even when it's a bit windy out. I'm waiting for my other base craps out on me so I can buy another one of these!

Fluted Umbrella Base
Heavy (50#) cast iron stand, nicely finished in bronze, matches umbrella pole, really looks good. It was very easy to set up, no tools needed. Works fine alone, but will probably add the 30# weight for additional stability.

Great Base!
I was a bit hesitant to buy this because of the price but wanted a base that coordinated well with the grandinroad umbrella. I'm so happy I got it because they look perfect together. I purchased it in bronze and it's a great color. The base set up in a minute and it is extremely stable.

Quality problems
Base finish is nice as expected, however base arrived chipped on perimeter and one of the "foot pads" that stabilize it is missing. i would have returned it but at 50 lbs it is too heavy for me to handle that.

Not sturdy enough.
I got this base and the weight to go with it, as was advised for the size umbrella I bought, and the umbrella and stand have blown over twice. Now I have a torn windown screen and a scratch on the window. I would not purchase.
