Expected more
I was really excited to see these in the catalog. Perfect for my horse and sleigh themed Christmas. The good part-very quick shipping. I ordered both sizes, don't have the large one yet, but it is on the way.
The bad-The top of the bell was scuffed and missing paint from the box rubbing on it (no extra protection was provided). There are other marks on the bell. I can't tell if they are from the packing or just a lousy paint job (I am going toward the bad paint job). I expected more (better) at these prices.
I didn't realize the bell was not open, like a bell. It is just painted black to look like it is open. I was going to put lights in the bell!
The top looks more like a Christmas ornament ball than a bell. Actually, the whole bell looks like a ball. Lets just say, it doesn't look anyway near as good as the photo in the catalog. I figured for this price it would be better.

Do these bells have a flat spot on them for a to lay on the concrete or are they completely round?
Does this jingle bell actually jingle? Because for $500 it darn well better!
