Rated 5 out of 5 by GiaMarie from Every Bit As Nice As I Had Hoped! I ordered the black on white, rectangular, house number only version of this address plaque. It looks great! I'm happy with the metal casting and the paint job. The 5-digit house number is big enough to see at a distance. The high contrast of the black and white helps in that way. And the plaque is big enough not to look puny next to a tall door with sidelights and a transom above. I was so happy to find this slightly whimsical version of plaque. These are usually so traditional looking and not quite my style/colors. This one is great with my transitional style home with a black front door and white trim. One thing to be prepared for: my siding is shingle/shake like the siding in the photo and the plaque wouldn't have sat well on the slopes. I had a handyman cut out a rectangle from the siding slightly larger than the plaque and replace that with a flat board, caulk the edges and paint the whole thing to match the siding, then mount the plaque and it looks perfect.
