Very comfortable!
We love these chairs - we bought two for the ends of our dining table and we have the armless ones for the side seating. Navy color and very pretty and extremely comfortable. What's really nice is the beautiful wooden legs -- they're smooth and a nice color. Other chairs we had purchased from another site were pretty, but the legs were SO rough, we would've had to sand them down and re-stain. These chairs are also a super value. Highly recommend!

Penelope Arm Chair
The chair is perfect for my husband to get in and out of. He has Parkinsons and the arms work very well for him to push on to assist him getting up and lean on while sitting down. The seat is comfortable but firm enough to allow him to get out easily as well.

Love the chair!
I bough this a month ago and love it. My only problem is with shipment. Both times I ordered it and the wrong color was sent. My only issue is with getting the correct item I ordered. I didn’t have the second one for Thanksgiving and had to go through the headache of shipping it back for a return. Then, of course, the price changed. Now the price changed again the next day. Wait for 30% off and free shipping. Best price.

TERRIBLE QUALITY--DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I am a loyal customer who purchased multiple items within this order, one item being the Penelope arm chair. We were more than disappointed when we received the chair. Aside from it being damage, the grade of leather that is used to upholster the chair is the lowest in terms of leather grading. Initially I included a complaint about the lack of transparency in the material they used, however, once I re-read the description of the product they do indicate that it is made out of bonded leather. Since I've never heard of this type of leather I did some research on leather grading and thought I'd share the information I recently learned.
Leather Grading – in order of best to worst
(1) Full-Grain Leather
refers to leather that hasn’t been sanded or buffed out to remove marks or imperfections, so it includes the entire thickness of the skin. High quality furniture, luggage, and footwear often features full-grain leather, and it develops a beautiful patina over time.
(2) Top-Grain Leather
Second on the list, and the second-highest quality, top-grain leather has the split layer with imperfections taken away, making it thinner and more workable for the manufacturer. This is the most common type of leather used in high-end products (think handbags), you’ve likely seen it everywhere.
(3) Suede
Well-known to most, suede has a signature napped surface from the underside of the skin. Technically suede is formed from split leather, which has had the top-grain rawhide removed to leave behind the drop split. This can be further divided, or sanded down to reach the appropriate thickness. There are a variety of techniques to create suede (different splits, sanding, etc.), but its signature is its textured feel. Cow leather has a rougher feel, so lamb, goat, calf, and deerskin are commonly used instead.
(4) Nubuck (similar to suede)
Top-grain cattle hide leather that has been lightly sanded on the outside. This creates a very short nap, giving leather its signature velvety feel.
(5) Bonded leather
At the bottom of the pyramid, bonded leather uses leftover scrap pieces of leather that are shredded to a near-pulp. These shreds are then bonded together using polyurethane or latex on top of a fiber sheet
