Love the size.
This pumpkin is wonderfully large. I love that it is battery-operated and that it seems to glow in the dark. However, they should have painted the pumpkin WITH the lights on. Because it is all translucent, it shows areas where the orange paint is low or absent. This is distracting but not a game-changer.

Almost a great Halloween pumpkin but flawed
I like this pumpkin because it is somewhat realistic and is higher quality than most lit pumpkins. The black on the cutout part that people complain about actually makes it look better in daytime and when lit I don' mind the subdued light created. What I don't like is that they put the battery pack in the back instead of the bottom and it wrecks any 3d view of a really well done pumpkin. And the 4 mini screws to replace the batteries makes it an unnecessary pain.

Love the timer
I love this Jack-O-Lantern. It is a great size and the timer is very convenient. The lighted part is darker in person and gives more of a black glow than a bright yellow.

The eyes,nose,mouth are painted black so when lit up you can barely see the light through like it shows in the online photo. Disappointed looks better unlit

Looks good but…
The screws for top to the battery box stripped after opening only one time. The jack o lantern itself looks great. But the battery box is not acceptable.

Not Impressed
I was excited that they had a prelit option after having the unlit porch jack o’ lantern for several years (wishing I would’ve gotten that one instead), but this is so overpriced and disappointing. When I first opened it, I was hopeful as it looks decent unlit. When lit, as seen in the photo, the paint is awful. The mouth, nose, and eyes are black and the light shines through showing every imperfection in the paint. You can see where more paint was sprayed versus other areas, and the light also comes through the orange pumpkin. The light itself is more white than warm and doesn’t even look as warm in person as it does in my photo.
It is a substantial size but the paint is horrible. I’m so disappointed given that it looks so classic in the promo photos.
Given the price, I may return it. If I don’t, it definitely will not be a focal point of any display.
GR used to be the pinnacle of Hallowe’en decor. Not sure what’s been happening the past few years, but this isn’t the first item that hasn’t met expectations. Honestly, I’m enjoying the decorations I get elsewhere for a fraction of the cost much more.
