Pre-Lit Evergreen Alpine Tree is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Really Cute. Perfect size for my space. Looks very outdoorsy and different from a standard Christmas tree. I love that there is space around the trunk base instead of branches going all the way to the floor giving it an open space feel. It however, does lean at the upper portion slightly, but I was able to spin it around to hide that little flaw. I am going to keep the tree as I like it so much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok These trees look great. Bought 3 in multiple sizes last Christmas. With that said one set of lights were burnt out by the end of the season with only minimal use. This year I will have to remove them (they are wrapped around each branch) so this will be difficult and time consuming to change out the lights for use this Christmas. Not happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wintery and pretty I like the trees, they are a little bare and spindle like but that was the look I was going for for our basement - rec room, themed "Jackson Hole" - we love skiing and the western mountain trees look like this. I Plan to use all year as our greenry. I had ordered 4', 5', and 6' trees and a 7'. Clustered together is fuller.. would not recommend as a christmas tree stand alone, unless little space and like the wood look. lights did not work on one strand of three of the trees: one was a wire cut (i spliced) and another was a broken light (i replaced) and the third of the 7 trees I ordered, I still did not find the issue, but bought a strand of 20 lights to nestle in.. - not happy about that, but usu what I expect w pre-lit items.. did not send back bc needed the look and did not have more of the size i wanted by the time I would have re-ordered. I have some flocked and some not. the flocking is pretty thick - very snowy look.. will make light replacement difficult when the time comes.. rec the nonflocked trees and spray on snow for a lighter look w more green to show.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I've been extremely happy with other items I've purchased from Grandin Road, but not thrilled with these trees. They're quite sparse.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great I gambled and bought this 5' tree on cyber Monday. I read the reviews, which were mixed, and felt, if I bought it at a discount, it was worth the chance. It meets the needs that I had - relatively inexpensive (I did buy it on sale) and its a small, slim tree, as I needed it for a small space. I do like the rustic look it has with the wooden trunk, but it most certainly doesn't look like the pictures shown. I really don't know how they were able to "fluff" the branches well enough to fill in the whole middle of the tree. The branches are too sparse, and they are't long enough to stretch across that far. Therefore, you can see the wooden trunk the whole length of the tree. However, I personally am OK with this look. The trunk is real wood and is attractive, and adds to that rustic look I was going for. But, the wooden trunk is about the same width the whole way, from the floor to about 4 feet up. The top of the wooden trunk is just cut off, like a log. It does not taper into the top of the tree. The top of the tree is a typical artificial tree top, made of a metal pole with branches coming off of it. You will have to "fluff" the branches to mask the transition from wooden trunk to metal pole, but not possible to hide the change completely, as the tree is not full enough to do so. My 2 biggest complaints are; 1. The lights at the top of the tree are very sparse, and do not blend in with the bottom parts of the tree. There are 3 sections. The bottom 2 sections have the wooden trunk, and the top section is a metal piece with branches that come off of it. This whole top piece (which is about 12 inches long) has probably about 10 light bulbs on it, all the way around. Its really not a lot, and when you look at the rest of the tree, the bottom has more lights per area, so the top tree looks like there's either lights missing or lights out. Its not the same consistency. 2. The tree is slightly crooked. There is a hole drilled into the bottom of the wooden trunk and it must not be drilled straight. There is a noticeable lean to the tree. Not enough to tip over, but enough to warrant it to be shimmed. Overall, I do like the tree, and I'm happy I got it on sale. I don't know if its worth paying full price, but then again, there really aren't a lot of small, inexpensive, artificial trees out there (or at least to fit the needs I had). I don't plan on decorating it much. I may add some small things, but this is not my main Christmas Tree. The branches are not strong enough to support heavy ornaments or lots of ornaments, in general. It will support the generic glass bulb ornaments, or light weight decorations, but I don't think its meant for much more than that. So I would not recommend this to be used as your Christmas Tree. Its cute for an accent tree though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rustic beauties Alpine trees in the mountains are scruffy, small trees because they exist close to the tree line. These approximate reality nicely. They provide a rustic look & do well with wildlife representatives around them. If this is the look you are hoping for, you will be pleased with these. They are sturdy & easy to assemble as well

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pre-Lit Evergreen Alpine Trees I purchased the smaller size and it's has a scraggly appearance and does not look good when alone. So I purchased the frosted Per-lit Alpine tree and flank it with and they compliment each other and look good at night. May order two more for next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Alpine Tree set of 3 The wires of the lights were wrapped indiscriminately around clumps of branches making it impossible to pull individual branches out, and down, to form the tree. It took me hours to try to make the 2 sets (6 trees) presentable enough to display at either side of my front door. I added a sparkly light green tree with metal needles and a colorful tin soldier. Each grouping works. But, a close inspection would prove otherwise! I also do not turn on any lights as that would show the "clumping" of the branches an the indiscriminate wiring of the lights. Even on sale it was a poor choice which looks sooooo good in the advertisements. These are Way Below grandinroad standards.
