Pre-lit Flocked Alpine Tree is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 105.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from NEED IMPROVEMENT They are cute set up together. I bought 3 of these 3 years ago. Each year I have had to buy at least one replacement because the lights go out. Every light on the tree burns out and is black. They are EXTREMELY messy to set up and the trunks are all crooked so the tree stands crooked. Need to be made with MORE quality. They are expensive but they aren't cheap, so for the price, I expect more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trees are just okay, customer service is stellar Customer service: I bought five or six of these last year and this year, one of them only lit halfway. I emailed customer service who gave me some trouble shooting tips to no avail. I called them the next day and talked to a women named Lindy. She spent a great deal of time on the phone with me and talked to another department. At the end of the call, I had a great solution and am very happy. Now the trees: The trees themselves are good and bad. The smaller ones are much more full and look closer to the photos. The taller ones, however, are not very full at all and the "trunk" is clearly visible throughout. The flocking is a GIANT mess, but I guess that's to be expected and can be swept up - but open the boxes and arrange the branches outside to save yourself a headache. The trees do not work that well with their stands and a few of mine are perpetually crooked. Overall, I'm not sure I'd buy them again, but with the lights off in the evenings, they are charming. They also have a three-year warranty and super helpful customer service. I'll definitely continue to buy from Grandinroad, just maybe not these trees.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as pictured These looked so pretty and full in the picture but when they arrived they are not nearly as full. You can see the middle of the tree through the branches even though I have moved them around to make it look fuller. I think the price and what you get doesn't match up. Also, after putting one of them together it stands slightly crooked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I bought the 5' flocked tree two years ago, going into the garbage this year as the end of last Christmas season a section of lights went out. Found about 8 burned out lights in one section, plus the lower section is now dim. It wouldn't be bad if I paid a cheap price for it, but these trees are very pricey. I loved everything about it, but I can't spend a large amount for a poorly designed tree :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved these, but... I bought a set of 5 of these 2 years ago. Looked SO lovely all set up in the corner of my living room! The flocking mess was a bit annoying, but I could overlook that. I was SO disappointed when I took them out the next year and not ONE of them lit up. VERY expensive for a one time use...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Big mess I had high hopes for this tree, but after getting it out of the box and fluffing out the branches it looked like a snow storm went through my living room! Also the tree looked pretty anemic compared to the photo despite fluffing out branches.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very bad and disappointing purchase !!!! Tree is very skimpy when branches are fixed and half the snow has came off already and it was a MAJOR MESS cleaning up my floors!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect addition to Christmas I bought several of the Alpine trees and sit them beside my fireplace. Makes the indoors as quaint as the outdoors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Narrow flocked trees, perfect for hallway I bought 2 of the trees, the 7 foot and the 4 foot for my front entryway. They are narrow so that they fit easily. The flocking is beautiful and well placed- even and natural looking. It took some time to fluff up the branches and for that reason, I'll store upright with a bag over the top when not in use. I wish the prewired lights were denser, there are branches with no lights and I already had to replace a light that was out (and caused a whole section to go dark). Overall, I really do like them and will continue to use them for many years as long as the lights hold out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Let it snow! This tree is perfect for a tight space. The only reason I gave this tree 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a bit messy. The white flocking gets all over so make sure to put a garbage bag or towel down around the base before setting the tree up and fluffing it. The tree itself is very cute and makes for a perfect winter wonderland themed tree. I adorned my tree with woodland themed ornaments and pinecones and got a lot of compliments on it. The lighting is also very impressive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute Christmas trees, not highest quality I have bought 5 of these flocked trees over the last 3 years. They are so adorable, however the quality leaves a lot to be desired. They last 2 seasons, max. The lights go out. Also, the screws to put trees together are on crooked and or the wood on post are not even so the trees look like they are leaning and there is no straightening them up. They are adorable and I love them but some quality issues need to be revamped. Bring production back to the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pretty I needed a small tree to add a festive touch to my half bath. This was just the right size and I love the flocking. I used a gold napkin to wrap around the bottom as a tree skirt and a star to the top. Perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Charlie Brown Tree It definitely has some bare spots on it and it the white fake snow falls off easily but I like it because it's whimsical looking. It should have been less money though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pretty, but presummed unsafe I bought the 3 ft. flocked Alpine tree. It is just what I wanted, and has a very pretty appearance, but also comes with a warning of being made of materials that could cause cancer. You are also warned to wash your hands after each time you touch the electric cord. I was very upset by this ammonous warning, but didn't take the time to contact Grandinroad. In the Christmas rush, I just plugged it in and am taking proper precautions, and enjoying it's beauty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Winter Trees We are so glad we purchased these trees. We purchased the 4 and 6 foot trees and set them side by side. They are simply beautiful and need no decorations. We did put a couple little white snow birds and an owl in them just for fun. They are heavily snowed and look real with the wooden poles. Very easy to assemble and shape.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Charlie Brown" We really love the size of this tree and all the "snow" and lights on it. It fits in the small place where our tree sits. But my only complaint is that there are some very evident bare spots with no branches. I tried pulling some branches from the back and side but this ploy did not work. Some of the branches are very weak and I am afraid to bend them to make the appeance nicer. There is a nice amount of lights on it and there were extras in the box. Good thing beacuse I have already used two new bulbs for the two that already burned out! But it looks pretty at night!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A crooked Alpine On a positive note, the lighted tree is very pretty and fits a small corner beautifully. As several have said, it is messy out of the box so open and set up outside. The worst part at least on the tree I purchased was screwing it onto the stand. The directions state to "insert Section B onto stand, and make sure screws are tightened." First of all there are no screws. You have to screw the stand into the trunk of the tree and believe me it is not easy. Very tight and therefore impossible to screw in so that the tree is straight. I have kept the tree and have straightened it by propping books under the stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful flocked tree I purchased the prelit 3ft and 4ft and the unlit flocked. Beautiful! I placed them in our fireplace mantel with the snowy owls, penguins, polar bears that i bought from you just recently. And walla!! i created a wintry Christmas theme, added lighted snow blanket and LED lights, it look so dreamy. All of my friends were so amazed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This was my first purchase with Grandin. I had high expectations and I was very disappointed in the quality of the tree. I would not purchase on again. I'm thinking of sending it back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but not Perfect After reading countless rave reviews about this tree I guess my expectations were a bit high. It arrived on time and the lights all work (evidently this was an issue voiced by a few reviewers). However, the tree (I ordered the 7') wasn't at all as nice as I expected it to be. Some of the lights were strung haphazardly resulting in bare "dark" spots in a couple of areas and the branches seemed very scarce altogether. I initially intended to use this in our wine room (which has a very beautiful window facing the front yard) but once I removed it from the box it I realized it would not suffice. The top piece is quite crooked and the tree leans to one side even though I've made several adjustments. That said, it does make a beautiful addition to our front door area on the exterior of the house. From the street at night it glows beautifully and adds a nice touch of class to our main entry. One more in a smaller size probably would have looked very lovely and I may consider this in the future. Overall, however, I didn't think this tree was worth the price even with 20% off. Like other reviewers mentioned the flocking is VERY messy, particularly when the branches are adjusted (a necessity) so keep this in mind should you decide to purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pre-lit flocked alpine tree We love these trees. We purchased a two-foot, three-foot, and four-foot trees. They are rustic-looking, magical, and take up little space. This is the first time we've had artificial trees instead of a real tree since 1981. We will purchase more of these for other rooms. I don't think we'll go back to real trees after receiving these. They are lovely!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love these trees! I bought a set of three of these last year and bought another this year so each bedroom has its own tree. They are so easy to decorate or leave as is and bring just the right amount of light to each room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plesantly surprised Never ordered before and was skeptical. But reviews were confirmed when I recieved the tree. Very nice. Not quite as realistic as I had hoped but still nice. And unable to find anything close whether on line or retail. Worth the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute addition for empty corner Very decorative but sheds the snow particles easily not fun if you have carpeting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tabletop tree Decided not to get a large tree this year. This tree is small at about 3' tall. It is prelit and flocked. I added a few of my own ornaments. It stands well in it's stand, which I covered with the white-fur skirt. With a few other lights around the room and some decorations, I do not miss our usual big tree. And, very little clean up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service Liked everything I ordered and really liked how fast I got everything !!
Date published: 2016-12-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly delighted! After reading the reviews I was actually a little bit concerned about ordering this tree because several customers make comments about not being happy with the appearance of the tree limbs and so forth. We are beyond happy with this purchase and every day we look at it and comment on how much we love our new little tree. It is perfect! I also bought the two polar bears to go with the tree and also wrapped white fur around the bottom to make it look like snow. We couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product Decided to forego the usual big Christmas tree this year. Purchased a 4' Alpine tree and liked it so much, I also bought a 6' tree and we added the tree skirts and the polar bear to make a wintry tableau. The flocking is very attractive and the trees assembled easily. Received many compliments on them.

Where can I get fuses for the 2 foot tree?

Asked by: Joyce21
Thank you for your interest in the Pre-Lit Flocked Alpine Trees. These trees use 3A 120V fuses, which may be found in most hardware stores or other stores which offer holiday lighting. A small packet of replacement bulbs and fuses are included with each of these trees.

My tree arrived and there is a Prop 65 warning for lead on the box. I haven’t opened it because I want to know more, however, it doesn’t appear on the website. Which parts have lead?

Asked by: MegTheScientist
Thank you for your interest in the Pre-lit Flocked Alpine Tree. Having Proposition 65 warnings on products has become very common. Because a vast majority of retailers, including ourselves, do not segregate their California vs. non-California inventory, many products are delivered to and/or purchased by consumers outside the state of California with this warning label. Frontgate is vigilant in its compliance with Prop 65 and works closely with its vendor partners to ensure they do the same. This label is required, even in cases of trace amounts of these substances. Most electrical items contain lead in the power cords. However, please rest assured quality and safety are our top priority.
