Will the branches strong enough to hold ornaments ?

We also have the top half of the tree lights go out and not really happy about it. Have tried replacing bulbs and not work. How can we order lights to match...not happy that lights are out with how expensive tree is.

Half of the lights (on the top half of my tree) went out. What do I do to fix the problem? The top half of the branches light up but the bottom half of the branches (middle section of the tree) will not light even though both plugs are plugged in.
We are sorry to hear about your Pre-Lit Spooky Tree. We recommend first checking for any broken bulbs or any bulbs that are not fully pushed into the socket. The broken bulbs should be replaced with the replacement bulbs included with the item. If this does not resolve the issue we also recommend checking the fuses in the plug of this item and replacing them if needed.

How do you switch to twinkling?
One customer stated that you can switch them from solid to twinkling. If so, how is this done?
Just received my trees and they are PERFECT! LOVE LOVE LOVE them and cannot wait for Halloween!

Are they waterproof or water resistant? If it rain? Can they be outside? There's no clear info if they are weatherproof.

If one light goes out , do the rest stay lit or do they have to be replaced for the tree to stay lit
I don't know. I have had 2 small trees for years and it doesn't appear that any lights have gone out. I decorate indoors with orange and purple lights and lights go out all the time!!! Not so with these trees!

When I got the 6 ft tree I decided to take the lights off and put led lights so I went to lowes and got some led count 100 for the 6 ft tree you would need 3 of the color changing led lights

Pre-Lit Spooky Tree
I really like these pre-lit Halloween Trees it was so easy to put together and the lights give a perfect affect, I purchase two trees. My theme is a swamp look with frog rolling through the trees, i will put a bat hanging on the large tree that i also purchase here. I also purchase the witch from Grandinroad and i choose to change her hat and made her look like a gypsy witch.

Spooky Tree for Spooky Time
Received the tree yesterday, and immediately set about assembling it.
Super easy assembly. Good instructions.
Well made. I say this having had experience with a number of other Halloween trees in the past that were so chincy I had to rebuild them to make them remain standing. This tree is well engineered. Just set it up, decorate it with a couple of bats, and a few Rat skeletons around the base, and a cat figure, or two, and you are ready for those trick or treaters.
We (my wife, and myself) are very pleased with this purchase, and are considering another one to fill out our displays.

These trees are AWESOME!
I purchased my first two Spooky Trees in 2002 and in 2004 I bought 4 more (4 large and 2 small). These are the best trees. We put them out the first weekend in October and don't bring them in until Nov. 1st. They have held up against 60mph winds, rain and sleet and look brand new. We do tend to add an extra stake on each foot (from any home improvement store) as Texas fronts carry high winds. Twelve years later and Grand in Road has made our front yard the "MUST SEE" house in the neighborhood. Don't hesitate... just buy them... they are worth it and mine are 12 years old and look brand new!!

great purchase
These trees were very easy to set up, look very Halloweenish in the yard and have lots of lights. We get a lot of wind here so like the fact they have the ground stakes.

I have about 8 of these looks great in the graveyard.
I would love to buy more, but they need to change to LED lights. I replaced all the lights on the trees with LEDS last year.

Love these spooky trees!
I've been buying spooky trees from Grandin Road for many years and I have never been disappointed. I buy a new style as soon as they become available ever summer because they do sell out! The quality and durability is excellent. I look forward to Halloween every year so that I can put up all my Spooky trees!

Fun Fall Decoration
We use this house indoors and really enjoy the warm light it adds to our fall decor. It's nice that you can switch from steady to twinkling lights, if you want.

Thrilled and then a little disappointed
The tree was easy to assemble. you do need an extension cord as the three plugs on the tree only go to the bottom of the tree. Which isn't likely to be where your electricity source is.
I loved this tree, but a week after being outside the bottom section of lights went out and I couldn't figure out why. Even with just the top section lit it looked really great. It was a nice beacon from a far that our house was accepting trick or treaters.
I will try and figure out the light problem. Or buy orange lights to wrap around the bottom as an alterative.
I would like to have one more of this tree and one of the other spooky trees available at Grandin road. One was great, but a couple would be awesome.

Best Spooky tree ever
We are big Halloween haunter's, and this year our existing Orange Prelit tree finally died after many years of service. We had purchased though another vendor. So we looked everywhere and finally saw these on Grandinroad. This tree is built very well with a great shape. The only part that i was reluctant about was the lights are not LED. My entire haunt has switched to LED's over the past few years, and now i fell like i am back tracking.
outside of the LED issue, this is a great tree and well constructed.

An expensive, partially lit 6 ft. tree
Not happy that within two weeks of my purchase, half of the top strand of lights went out (not due to a burned out bulb). I don't know if the whole strand needs to be replaced, which is going to be a nightmare the way the lights are attached to the tree. I do love the 6 ft. tree, but this is disappointing, especially considering the price.
