Is the back “finished” or does it look messy? I’m wondering if I could hang where part of the back may be exposed through a window.

Like another reviewer said, it needs a little fluffing out of the box, and 3 AA batteries. I'll switch out my blue stars for colored balls after Hanukkah. Up the cozy factor in your home. You won't be disappointed.

Shown where all the leaves are faced forward and green, there is no way to get the leaves all facing forward ! The wires will not stay - so a pretty look , but not what i would like, the distance between the strands is nice also not as full as pictured maybe shown doubled up ?

It fits perfectly in the limited space I have, was very easy to hang, and looks beautiful. I especially enjoy the lights and lighted star. Highly recommended.
