Perfect bench!
I bought this to fit in a little nook on my patio, mainly for looks. I don’t forsee myself sitting on it. I’ve received tons of compliments. Based upon the reviews, i thought I could put it together myself. I ended up hiring someone, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it’d be.

Can this bench be painted

Do you need to apply a varnish on it? It will be outside and exposed to rain, etc. What maintenance is necessary?

From a review of the picture, it appears that the black paint/finish has a "rubbed" look or a "worn" look on the legs and perhaps the slats. Please advise if the picture is true to the appearance of the bench. What maintenance is required?

Do you have seat cushions that fit this bench?
Thank you for your interest in the Samson Bench. We apologize; we do not currently offer a compatible cushion, as this collection is designed for use without cushions. However, the seat measures 42"W x 19.25"D. If you would like to use a cushion, we would recommend one measuring approximately 41"W x 19"D.
