Rockin on the Porch in Style!
I purchased 4 of these beautiful rocking chairs in black. They came quite expediently considering the world we live in now. There was some assembly required, but even my "I put nothing together" husband had no trouble. Extra screws were included, just in case the guy above dropped one and it disappeared into the place those things seem to disappear into. Once assembled and placed we, of course, immediately tried them out with a glass of Chardonnay and a view of the sunset over the lake. They are roomy in the seat and really really sturdy, and the contrasting fibers on the seat add elegance to the design. The contoured back is comfortable and sturdy while rocking and sitting. I am so glad I made the purchase, I will get years of use and they look so good!

Roomy , solid and very comfortable !
These came very easy to put together and well made . Solid wood , easy instructions and rocking flow is great . The wicker seat is a mix of light straw color with some specks of gray that compliment the black . Very clean looking but with a more upscale vibe than the classic wood rocker . Definitely recommend . We bought the matching bench which we are also very pleased with . 5 stars !

what happens when the seat wears out?? how long does seat last?
Thank you for your interest in the Samson Rocking Chair. The chair has a 1 year warranty on it. We have not had any issues with the seat wearing out. You can use a cushion on top of the seat as well.

We do not have an overhang where the rockers will be. Do you still recommend the Samson or the Nantucket?
