Thank you for your interest in our Signature Plus No-dig Mounting System #26934. This is the only no-dig mounting system we currently offer. This item has an in-ground depth of roughly 20-1/2". The diameter tapers from the top at 2-3/4", down to 7/8".

Exactly as advertised
This device is so much easier than digging a post hole and using concrete! We used it for our last mailbox, but FedEx backed over it - the screw stayed in the ground and the top of the bracket broke off. Testament to a good anchor point for the screw! Looking forward to years of use again, barring someone backing out of the drive over it again!

Strong and easy!
This is an easy solution! I actually used it for an 8 ft. 4x4 to hold a birdhouse on top. Much easier than digging and pouring concrete for the post.

great idea
Not having to dig a hole for the post by using the auger is a great idea, but you need to have good solid soil, and a strong young man to screw it down.

Mailbox kit
The post digger was a great idea. It saved lots of time . No concrete needed. The mailbox kit was cheaply made and the caps provided to cover the screw holes don’t fit. The screws are all visable
