The Silas bench, multi functional and looks great!
Love the Silas bench-this is the second one I have purchased. I didn’t want to buy another chest of drawers just to house all of Winter sweaters. The bench is the perfect solution. My other bench houses all of my quilts from different generations.

An attractive and functional storage solution!
This storage bench did not disappoint! It is well-constructed, sturdy, and very attractive. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. I was pleased to see that the lid lines up perfectly with the base after assembly and the hinges are of good quality. There is a good amount of storage space and it is perfect for placing at the foot of my bed.

Beautiful & Sturdy Dual Purpose
This bench is simply beautiful (I have it in bone), and has already collected many compliments. It also is sturdy, and serves very well as a highly attractive dual-purpose that provides extra seating as well as storage; so important in condominium life. Pleasantly Surprised
I bought this in Marbled Navy to go at the end of my king-sized bed. I am so pleased with the quality. I really did not expect much for this price, however, the leather is beautiful. Our purpose for purchasing this was to fill the space at the foot of the bed, have a place to set all of our shams during sleep, and to have extra storage. This fits the bill. I will say that it may not be durable enough for a place like an entryway where there is a lot of traffic. Take that into consideration when purchasing--the leather isn't scratching easily, but I don't have kids or dogs making any kind of impact.
I will also say that, because I have this against the cherry footboard of my bed, I bought dime-sized silicon protectors, like you would use for cabinet doors, and placed several along the nailhead trim, as it would definitely mar the bed. You'll also want felt pads on the bottom of the feet when placing on wood flooring. All that said, still a really nice piece.

Second time is even better
This is our second storage bench from Grandinroad. Our dark gray one was a workhorse for 10 years of being used as a coffee table/footstool/visiting grandchild play table, etc. We decided to try the lighter gray this time and its very attractive. The nailhead trim is a dressy touch and the different stitching pattern is attractive.
