Does the cushion inside the sofa and chair ever need to be replaced?

How comfortable is the sofa? Could you use cushions? I understand there is a cushion underneath the wicker seating.

Trying to find cushionless option since outdoor cushions seem to hold water and not dry quickly. With the cushion being under the rattan will it cause the user to get wet if they sit on it after rain etc? Would prefer not to have to buy covers etc.

Do your outdoor Simsbury wicker pieces with foam on the interior feature fast dry, reticulated foam? I live in a very damp climate and need foam that is particularly fast drying and does not hold moisture.
