I just finished putting these away for the season - they look wonderfully like real dried seed pods until you come closer and begin to notice the faces. I had them arranged in our dining room with some other dried flowers, only took a bit of work to get the main stems bent into good shapes, as they arrive quite straight. I do wish I felt more confident adjusting the positions of the very small twigs holding the heads, but I was afraid to crush or detach anything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from More fake than expected While I fully understood these to be artificial, most artificial stems strive to be a fair representation of the natural variety. I was a bit disappointed in just how fake looking these are especially for the price. The stems and seed pods are at least 3x the size they should be and the seed pods are noticeably styrofoam, haphazardly painted and far more stylized than I could tell from the online and catalog photos.

I even love it as well! Til it rained out. The rain washes the paint off and it looks a lot creepier causing it to look all white and very slimy and then it was melting the skull twigs which I'm not too happy about. According to the description it should say for indoor use only.

The stems seems expensive (and they are) but I found the value worth it (with 20% off and free shipping). I haven't seen anything like this at other stores, and you receive six stems which are quite large and which look even better in person than in the pictures. Plus they are made of a hard foam which seems durable. I agree with another reviewer that the skull design has a Japanese quality to it. I plan to use these as part of a witch haunt scene.

Rated 5 out of 5 by a1i50n from I went back and forth on these & have zero regrets I had so much indecision on these, having been very disappointed in faux plants from other companies, but I am so glad I got them, they absolutely make my day! The skulls are a firm foam, the stems are overall large and well made, they do not disappoint! Because they are so subtle, I plan on keeping them up year-round!
