Terrible Service
I ordered this rug and first received a notification that it wouldn't arrive for 5 months, which was fine. The next thing I know, there is a carpet at my door. I open it and discover that they sent a completely different carpet. On the first call, I was told that they were sorry, but they had no control over the carpets since they didn't ship them. So I needed to email or call another number. I emailed and sent pictures and I received a response saying they would like to help but since I paid with paypal they couldn't credit my account and to call the 1st number again. On the 3rd contact, I was told that I needed to figure out how to wrap and send back this 50lb item and ship it back before they could credit my account. Oh and by the way, the carpet I ordered was now unavailable. I am currently waiting for them to resend packaging and then I will have to figure out how to reship back to them without incurring further costs. I do not recommend ordering any carpets from Grandin Road since they take no responsibility for these products or have any type of quality control.

The pictures are not the color you receive........
The color is not the same. It was a dark burgandy. The picture shows bright orange and red light and dark. Nothing like what I received. Very disappointed because it is so time consuming to return. I have ordered before and received what was shown and still need the rug in the picture but do not know if I am going to order anything else (skeptic)

Do not buy.
The rug color did not match at all the photos shown on-line or in the catalog. It is more gray rather than beige. Also, it does not appear solid in color but has a stippled look. I could not use in where intended.

I’ve had the rug for about a month now and I vacuum it every day because it sheds so much. I’m hoping that will end soon.

Red In picture isn't true
I bought this rug in red and was very disappointed that the color was way darker than shown in the catalog. It ia a nice rug so I kept it as it looks fine in the room anyway

On line the color looks orange but it is called red, so is it more of an orange red?

Can you put a round rug on a rectangle rug. If so how do you size
Thank you for your interest in Grandinroad. You can place a round rug on the rectangular rug. You would not want something bigger than the rectangular rug, so if you have a 8ft long rug, then you would want to go with a 6ft round or 4ft round.

Does this wool rug shed? Many wool rugs have this shedding/dust issues. Wondering if there is any shedding. Thank you.
