Look good, not great outdoors.
We have two of these flanking our front door under a completely covered porch (in a the very moderate Northern Florida springtime weather), and they look great. After just a few weeks, however, the finish appears to be fading in places and we'll likely have to paint them in the near future. They're also very thinly constructed, so I added paver blocks into the base to weigh them down. Not recommended for outdoors.

Beautiful!
I got this for Christmas, and it is beautiful on my front porch! Very heavy construction. We live on the lake and get a good bit of wind, and it has never blown over. Color is perfect!

"Very Thin" Stainless Steel Tapered Planter
Planter is very lightweight and falls over easily with the slightest breeze. Water stains are near impossible to remove. Really NOT suited for outdoor use and we live in the desert.

How heavy is this planter?
How long does the copper finish last? Does it fade or otherwise change color?
We have a covered porch but these planters will get wet every time it rains due to wind and SW facing porch. Are these going to hold up in that siriation?
Wondering about the insert? Do you plant your plant into the insert? If so, is it sturdy enough to place into the planter without breaking?
