I bought 2 of these for my spare bedroom..I chose the blush color which is so soft. They look really great together and it really makes the room. One of the lamps came with a different finial...which was probably just an error so I contacted Grandin Rd & with no problem at all they are sending me the correct finial. They could not have been nicer about it. Great lamp I highly suggest it!

Why was the socket assembly not already done prior to shipment? Instructions show you must fasten the socket assembly into lamp base by turning it which automatically twists the cord and you cannot tighten it. Any suggestions?
