Where is this being imported from. What is Pine and what is MDF?
This is made in India, which explains the dark coloring, the quality of product and construction. Pine is a popular type of wood. This pine is reclaimed pine, which can be more like barn wood. MDF stands of medium density fiberboard.

Does this cabinet come in 2 different colors or is it the lighting?
The pictures are deceiving. The cabinet is very dark. The trim is very black and not metal. Shelves are not removable. The wood is very distressed, and deeply grooved.

The description says the shelves are removable but one of the reviews says they are not. This would make a difference in whether or not I purchased this cabinet. Are they removable?

Probably not as shelves are fixed and no opening in the back for cords.

Thank you for your interest in our Thatcher Cabinet. The shelves are 37.8"L x 14"D x .94" Thick. The shelves are fixed and there is 12" between the shelves.

Thatcher Cabinet
This cabinet is stunning. It is the focal point of my living room. I am thrilled with the look and “feel” that this stately cabinet brings to my home. Don't wait like I did!
Love this cabinet! Heavy duty. Came assembled. Had it unboxed and placed in my bedroom. The 2 guys were great. My one concern was the magnetic closure, but it is very tight. Looked at this for a year and now so glad I got it.

Functional statement piece that adds warmth &style
This is a really pretty piece of furniture..the finish of the wood, the doors, and glass just make it a statement piece. People who see it for the first time love it and ask where I got it. It’s quite versatile too. Spacious shelving offers numerous options and functionality.
