Vibrant colors!
I purchased this rug several weeks ago for my covered lanai because the colors popped off the page in my catalog. The turquoise color has now become my new accent color. I love it so much that I purchased two plantation chairs and ordered a matching rug.

Beautiful Rugs!!!
I recently bought 2 of these striped Tortola rugs for my deck. I just Love them. They make the outside look tropical with my Turquoise Umbrellas and deck chairs. I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and these rugs just put a new spin on the outside deck. They are beautifully made, washable and exactly what I was looking for.

This rug really pops! I love the vibrant color and have placed my similar color Nantucket Rocking Chair on it..looks great. Good quality and it lays perfectly flat after rolling it out upside down and pressing the corners for 24 hours with a few books(other reviews weren't happy with this)..

Overall, it is a pretty, vibrant color pattern albeit not as vivid as the picture. I gave 3 stars, however, since it holds water . I originally purchased it for our back deck , but realized when I first got it that it would be high maintenance pulling it up every day to let it drain and dry after our typical daily summer, southern coastal torrential downpours and storms. So, I instead placed it on a covered side porch , but it still gets some rain and stays damp . We live in a humid southern coastal beach town so it just doesn’t seem to dry out well. Would work better if you kept it in a completely covered or screened in area . It also seems to slide around on our brick porch even though I bought the suggested rug pad . Just too high maintenance.

A beautiful rug !
I purchased the Tortola Border pattern to go with an entire bistro set I bought from Grandinroad. The pattern is beautiful. I gave this rug 3 stars because on another website, it states not to leave this rug out in the rain, and if you do, to be sure to hang it to dry. Well, that was my purpose for buying this rug. I live on the Pacific Ocean and we do get a lot of rain. To be honest, this rug would probably be hanging out to dry every day. I have other rugs that have lasted for years in the rain and I've never brought them inside or had to hang them to dry. Can anyone tell me if this is a fact concerning this rug? This rug deserves 5 stars if I don't have to bring it out of the rain. It is very well made and would be beautiful inside or outside. Inside, it would last for years, I'm sure. Everything I get from Grandinroad is always pretty much top notch! I'm never disappointed. Grandinroad is my favorite place to shop for different and exciting things.

Tortola Outdoor Rug
Hey Grandinroad! Lovely rug, but please wrap/ send it better. It arrives tightly rolled up the Wrong way, in that when you un-roll, the sides are flipped up and it isn't flat. We, customers, must roll it the other way to smooth out the rough edges and inside. Please Roll it backwards, then it will lay flat. it's very cumbersome to fix. Otherwise, so far, it looks nice. Thank you.

I lovedthese rugs when I saw on line and bought because of vibrant colors.. I purchased 3 rugs for outside. I did read prior reviews and saw that it was perfect out doors. Well they look pretty but after a rain fall they are squishy wet for days even under hot sunshine. My previous rugs dried quickly. These would be better indoors. I’m not happy after spending so much $ on 3 big rugs. Very disappointed that I cannot sit outside because of the soaking wet rugs. They should say indoor only or under roof cover.

I love the colors of my round tortola border rug, it's been out for 2 days and still very wrinkled from being rolled. I tried wrinkle release, any other ideas for convincing it to smooth out?

To flatten the rug you may try to lay the rug upside down or lay the rug where you would like it to go, and then rearrange your furniture. Ensure that you place at least one piece of furniture on each corner of the rug. Placing heavy books such as phone books on the corners would help as well.

Can this rug be left out in the rain or does it have to be hung to dry?
Mine have been out in the rain and it even snowed on them. They quickly dried. I did not hang them over the railing to dry. They really are perfect!
