Very sturdy. Seat conveniently swings around to lower/raise and for easier dismount. Contour and width of seat makes for comfortable sitting. Grain and color of seat may vary with another (not a perfect match if ordering more than one stool). Very pleased with the look and quality.

Modern Farmhouse Perfect!
I've purchased three of these stools for myself. I easily convinced my mother-in-law to buy two, another friend to buy two and a third to buy one. Between their styling and ability to be adjusted, they are perfect for our collective Modern Farmhouse look! Note: they are quite heavy (well constructed...no assembly required). You may consider some sort of foot padding, so that they'll glide across carpet, if that's the type of flooring you have.

Absolutely love these!

BEAUTIFUL bar stools
When my husband and I built our farmhouse, he wanted tractor seat bar stools - green or red ones --- definitely NOT what I had in mind. I am SO glad that I found these gorgeous wooden and iron bar stools that still satisfied the farmhouse feel but with elegance and beauty. They come fully ASSEMBLED and add the perfect touch to our modern yet simple farmhouse!!! My grandkids LOVE the swivel aspect and we have even discovered that they will swivel low enough to use at the farm table as well should we need an 11th chair!!! Wood is beautiful, and stools are sturdy - maybe not the most comfortable, but I would buy them again, and again, and again!!!!

Great, sturdy, well-made stools. We purchased three and there is some slight variation in the color of the seat but this just adds to the charms. The rod to adjust the height was heavily coated with thick grease so we wiped off a little excess (not too much or it will still when trying to spin) and we kept towels underneath for a few days to catch any drops of grease. One of the stools was a bit too wobbly so we called customer service and they immediately arranged for free return with pickup and free shipping on replacement. The stools are beautiful and unique and the price isn't much more than you'd pay for lesser quality, mass manufactured stools at some furniture companies. We've gotten many compliments and even had friends ask for info to purchase their own. Very happy with this purchase.

Better than the picture
We originally purchased 2 Oak Park Stools for our new home while it was under construction. Once we moved in we realized the space called for 3 stools, unfortunately the counter stools were no longer available. The helpful customer service agent apologized and suggested we return the two stools and then purchase another kind of stool. We found the tractor stool, ordered 3. They arrived promptly and are better than the picture. I thought I loved the Oak Park stools but I really love the tractor stools. They work perfectly with out light wood look tile floors and compliment our barn door which is across from the kitchen. Thank you Grandinrod for helping us out of a design bind.

Tractor seat stool
I love it. The wood is beautiful, so many colors and textures. I did have to put larger pads on the bottom of the legs because they were scraping on our ceramic tile. The seat is comfortable. Very unique.

Very Good Stool
This is a heavy, basically indestructible stool. The adjustable height is great for low seat area like a kitchen desk up to counter height. The seat itself is a warm, rich variegated color as pictured so doesn't disappoint. Two of us use it and find the shape of the tractor seat comfortable and more than adequate size.
The only recommendation I have is to remove the small round foam rubber pads on the bottom of the feet and replace with larger cut to fit felt pads, perfect fit and no worries about scratching wood floors.

Tractor Stool
I love these stools! The metal base is very heavy and sturdy. The wood seat has a beautiful weathered look. The seat can swivel and adjust the height. The stools are prettier in person than in the pictures. They were a little spendy, I hope they will be durable so it will be worth the cost.

GOOD CHOICE
After reading issues that other people had I was leery to buy but very glad I did. This stool is very sturdy, no wobbling and heavy. It doesn't swivel too easy but I don't need it to because I use it at my computer desk so don't sit on it very long. The seat is wood so can get uncomfortable if used for a long period of time but again, it is wood and should be expected. The only problem was adjusting the height because it didn't want to rotate easily at all but a little WD40 did the trick.

Just what we needed
Love that these are super adjustable and a nice fit for your backside. They look great at our island and fit up underneath perfectly. Not five stars? They squeal when you move around on them and because the seat is on a big threaded screw, the seat is never perfectly level, just slightly askew.

Industrial looking stools
These stools are very simple and trendy. They are quite heavy. Bought two. One of the stools needed a pad to help stablize. Seats are not really all that comfortable for a long period of time. Seats adjust easily.

BEAUTIFUL in farmhouse kitchen
I love the contemporary, rustic look of these bar stools in our farmhouse kitchen. The wood is very beautiful and of high quality. The ONLY reason I did not give it a 5-star review is that the stools squeak a bit when being adjusted. Otherwise, GREAT purchase and GREAT overall look.

I bought 6 of these stools and have really loved them. Unfortunately the seat literally broke off the base of one chair. Can I have this replaced? It looks like it needs to be soldered back together. There was reason for the break.
