4 vs 6 lights?-have a square table that seats 8 people. 8 1/2 foot square umbrella
which light would work best with my dimension of umbrella and table 4 or 6?
My umbrella is 11' and I have the 6 light but I think you can use either depending how much light you want. Aimed upward I have lots of light but it is indirect. Love it.

Can the lights be dimmed &/or re-directed?
They cannot be dimmed. I aim the lights upward which gives very good light and the bulbs don't blind you.

Is it a warm light or white light?
There appears to be two sizes but only one option to buy. It’s not noted which size you’d be getting. The six reviews are not viewable

Better than I expected
I purchased the four light version and used it for the first time last night. I was pleasantly surprised! The directions indicated to charge the battery for six hours before using. I plugged it in at 5:00pm and when it was dark at 9:00, I put the battery into the light, snapped it onto my umbrella and it worked beautifully. The light was so bright! My guests were thrilled that we could see our food and each other. We need additional lighting around our pool area so I plan to buy a couple more.

Umbrella light
Perfect for our table umbrella. Provides adequate lighting for dining at night. I only wish that it came with a remote so I didn’t have to climb on a chair to turn it on. That is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Just what I was looking for.
I bought the light with 6 bulbs bc I have a large umbrella. I aim the light upward which provides very good indirect light. The battery holds the charge very well. The only downside is having to remember not to leave it out in the rain as it is not weatherproof. All in all, I am very pleased with this product and have purchased another one to use as a gift.

Cold-looking lighting
This was a well made piece, but when you charged up the battery, the lighting looked "blue" and cold. It didn't have the warm incandescent feel like a normal light bulb and consequently, it didn't look that great in the evening light under the umbrella.
