Stored tree in bag last yr, pulled bag down, but is the full bag supposed to stay at the base of the tree?

Can you use this Tree Keeper with a rotating tree stand?

Also, how bulky is the Tree Keeper when it lays under the tree? I have a custom-made tree skirt that I use. Will a tree skirt lay nicely over the Tree Keeper?
Asked by: Navimom
Thank you for your interest in the Standard Tree Keeper. It's possible, but a couple things have to be considered: 1. The bag has to be attached to the stand during the season, with the shape of the rotating stand, can the bag still fit? You'd have to take care to situate the bag to not interfere with the workings of the stand. 2. Bag has to be able to attach to the legs of the stand, need to make sure there's legs on the rotating device to attach to? 3. Need to make sure the rotating stand is OK to have a bag sitting on top of it for heat and ventilation?

it looks like this has rollers in the back but doesn't say . can you roll this to move it?

Asked by: Anonymous
We appreciate your interest in this item. This storage bag does not come with any type of wheels or casters. It simply goes over the tree stand that you would normally use. If you have a rolling tree stand you would then be able to roll the bag for easy storage.

What is the maximum diameter of tree for this storage bag?

Asked by: Santa's Helper
Thank you for your patience while we contacted the vendor to obtain an answer to your question regarding this item. We were able to confirm that this bag will accommodate up to a 50-60" diameter tree depending on how full the tree is. For larger diameter trees, it might take a couple people to pull up the bag and initially compress the tree down, but they will fit.

I have a prelit 7 1/2 foot tree that is in three sections that plug into each other. Will this tree cover accomodate my tree?

Asked by: PT1972
I have a 7 and 1/2 foot blue spruce, very full and height wise there is room to spare. I also have a 7 and a 1/2 foot douglas fir which is much less full more "branchy" and it works fine for that one as well. As the idea is to cinch it up, you can't see it in this picture but it has bands around the middle a bit like the ones inside a suitcase with buckles that you can tighten or loosen, you shouldn't have any problem. You put the bag around the bottom of the tree between the stand the tree and you shimmy it up until the tree is covered. It has a drawstring with a clip to keep it tight at the top and a it also has a place were you can insert a tag so next year you know which tree is which if you have more than one. There are carrying handles and lots of loops that make it easier to wrestle the bagged tree into a small spot. You won't take the tree apart and you can leave anything you think won't mind being folded up for the year. For example I have several additional sets of candle lights that I leave on one of the trees when I store it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This changes everything with tree storage! OK like you, I was thinking this is crazy to pay this much for a tree storage bag - but you know there has to be something better out there where you can stop using bungee cords and large trash bags to hold the hinged tree compact for storage; to add to our mess with a white flocked tree which is a disaster mess to move but I digress. This bag is WAYYY better than expected and absolutely worth the price. The material I would compare it to is like a LL Bean boat tote bag - that kind of thing. This thing is rugged with several handles sewn into the sides. One thing the printed directions state that is not noted online is that to fit a 9 foot tall tree fully, you have to take the top section off the tree and store in a lower compartment on the bag - we can't do that due to the way the tree is lit, so the top sticks out (just gonna place a trash bag over the top). Our tree is 52 inches wide and this fit in no problem because when you think about it, the hinged branches are folding up so who cares how long the branches are - the tree fit fine. The directions also note that two people make it easier to pack the tree and zipper the bag, but with little struggle I was able to do this myself, a one person job in less than 10 minutes. Also important to note is that there is a strap to collapse the tree even more and hold it in place - that makes carrying it to the basement and storing it in a confined space even easier. Overall, a great investment and wish I did this years ago. One less thing to stress about. I recommend.
