Beautifully painted
I love these plates! I wanted to buy them last year and just couldn’t resist when I saw them again and on sale. They’re painted so lovely, not gaudy at all. Mostly black sketched skull with gorgeous watercolor flowers on the side of the skull. Good solid plate. I’m very pleased with this purchase and I’m sure they will get many compliments on my table.

Beautifully done
I bought these plates the minute that the catalog arrived at my home. I purchased 2 sets, and both arrived in perfect condition. They are smaller than a large dinner plate but not by much. I am in the process of getting Gray or black bowls and mugs to complete my set. We plan on using these year round, and not just for Halloween.

I love the imperfect edges and the watercolor effects! They are good quality. They remind me of plates from pier one to give you some comparison. Very unique. I shop year round for Halloween items and I haven’t seen a set like these.

These plates are so beautiful, I don't want to use them. They are not straight around the edge, which some people have an issue with but I think it's charming. The imperfection makes them perfect. I have the skull platter, as well. Love and would recommend.

Mardi Gras meets Halloween
Bought 2 sets of these the minute they came out. Both sets came with a chip on the same plate so was a quality control issue. Grandin Road exchanged them for 2 more sets and they were perfect. Tasteful plates that can be used for Mari Gras as well as Halloween! 1 star taken off for chipping- otherwise a 5 star product.

They’re okay....
Cute design and I like the size. Bigger than a dessert plate but smaller than a dinner plate. One came chipped. They are unique, but I wish they were higher quality. I think they will chip easily. Recommend hand washing... Overpriced for the lower grade quality.

Miss the old skull plates
I bought these plates about a month ago. All arrived in good shape. I just wish Grandin Road still offered the previous skull plates that they had been selling for a few years. I managed to buy a set the prior year as well as the platter this year, and was hoping to get another set this year. Unfortunately, they seem to have discontinued them and replaced them with this newer skull plate set. I liked that the previous ones were more unique looking. These 4 plates all have the identical skull drawing as the base image with flowers and what-not superimposed over it. I will

Liked them at first!
I left an earlier review stating how great these are - well only a few short months later they are a mess! I ordered 2 sets, and almost every single one is chipped! So disappointed in the quality - especially in relation to their cost. Would like to order replacements, but I'm on the fence. I wish they were of better quality. Disappointed.
