white pedestal gift stands
Are these sturdy enough to hold medium to heavy buffet dishes?
Can the plastic be antiqued? Would like them to resemble the Dover Candle Holders and not look like shiny white plastic.

I have bought both the black and the white pedestals and they are very universal. Very well made and have a weight to them. I have no pictures but imagine after the holidays you can use these as a plant stand. I love plants that hand/grow down. These stands are perfect for that and they add interest and beauty. Having a party, place a bowl on a pedestal.. A wedding, place floral arrangements to make a beautiful back drop. These have endless possibilities. I love them.

Works for many occasions
The pedestals are so versatile. I purchased them for use with the ceramic Christmas presents, but will use them to showcase wrapped birthday gifts for my family, and for decorative items related to each holiday. Used one for cupcakes over Christmas as well. Quality is very good; no chips or dings as others noted. They are actually much bigger then I expected from the photos. Glad I made the splurge.

Very versatile
I purchased these before Thanksgiving to use with the designer presents ( which I love)
As It got closer to the Holiday I was hosting I thought of a dessert table and decided to you use the Pedestals to stagger the desserts on the table it worked great and looked beautiful

Very well made. I am using them for XMAS and every one comments on how pretty they are. I bought the black stands a year ago and I used them a lot. I turn them upside down for candles. You will not find this quality any where else.
