Are these sturdy enough to hold medium to heavy buffet dishes?
Can the plastic be antiqued? Would like them to resemble the Dover Candle Holders and not look like shiny white plastic.

Versatile!
I bought these for Easter but have found they are very useful as pedastals for cakes, pies, etc. on my banquet table. Excellent quality! Can also turn upside down for a different look.

Great Pedestals!
These pedestal stands are so much fun! They make my decorating feel and look professional. They are well made and sturdy. Each pedestal is a different height. The top of one is round. It gives the presents depth.

Lovely but big and heavy!
I obviously didn't pay attention to the size of these as they are much bigger ,and quite heavy, then I expected. That's my fault. They are lovely though. My main problem is with the largest of the pedestal stands. The pedestal is leaning to one side. I can turn it so that it isn't obvious but I also think for as expensive as these are there should be no leaning. I haven't decided if I am going to return them as I do like them, just wish they are a little smaller and no leaning on the large one.

Nice & Sturdy
I purchased the black version of these w/ rounded tops for Halloween on sale. So, when these went on sale, I snagged them. 4 stars because they are very pricy, even when on sale AND shipping is so high, in general at GR. However, I don't have much time to look for something similar, and so far, haven't found much that will hold larger things. They are very nice pedestals that hold my larger "presents", candles, and various other decor without risking being knocked off balance.

Beautiful pedestals
These are beautiful! I would have given 5 stars but my tallest pedestal had a crack in the base upon arrival. I kept it since the present that sits on it covers up the damage.

2 out of the 3 stands were beautiful but the smallest one had several paint blemishes where it looked like the paint didn't cover it very well. Was certainly not inspected for imperfections. Not up to Grandinroad quality. I will however, keep them because I should be able to hide the flaw as it is almost to the bottom of the stand.

Disappointing.
Bought these and wish I hadn’t. One doesn’t sit flat and is wobbly, all three have a terrible paint job that isn’t smooth.

The smallest pedestal had a rounded bottom so it doesn’t sit firmly on any surface. Didn’t return it because it was more of a hassle than I cared to endure even though Grandinroad jumped through hoops to accommodate me, that’s the reason I’m a diehard return customer.

The bottom of 1 of them wasn’t flat, it was like a roly poly. A couple black marks on 1 of the others. It had the potential to be very nice, but I had to return because it was defective.

Could be wonderful
I just received these pedestals and am extremely disappointed with the poor quality. Given the price, it should not be too much to expect them to sit level and to have a smooth painted surface, but no. As I said, one wobbles, some of the beads on the bases are not fully formed, paint is missing in spots, and some seams are not nicely finished but have the material globbed on instead. Perhaps if I had paid half of what I did, I might have expected this quality. I definitely would NOT recommend these, although they could be really cute! Unfortunately, it's my first order from Grandin Road, and if I can't trust their quality, probably my last.

Product arrived damaged... TWICE!
First order: Box arrived in perfect condition but middle pedestal was broken in half. I requested a replacement. Second order: each piece has noticeable defects in the finish (likely manufacturing problem?) raised bubbles, rough spots etc and the smallest pedestal does not sit flat but wobbles with anything on top. This was my first experience with GR and I won’t be back after this catastrophe.

I bought this product in black and white and found them at Tuesday Morning for half price but Grandin Road billing is awful. I paid my bill in full on the day it was due but the next day they added a $27 late fee because they close the day at 5pm and I paid in full after and they refuse to remove the late fee and the interest they put n my account the next day.o

I purchased these pedestals before Christmas to go with the faux presents. These pedestals were not the quality I was expecting from Grandinroad. One had paint that looked like it was chipped, the other pedestal was wobbly. I returned them .

Just received my white pedestal stands after waiting 12 days for delivery. I am very disappointed in this product. Whatever happened to quality control!!! Two of the three stands are so lopsided it is almost
comical. Immediately called customer service to explain the problem. They are sending a replacement set. Hopefully they will be if better quality and appearance.

Poor quality
I was so excited to get these and just opened the box today to start decorating for Christmas. The smallest pedestal is uneven and lopsided. The middle one has a paint blemish. And I think the tallest one is uneven too. Have to return and I’m so sad.

Horrible Quality
I bought these even though they had bad reviews because I have the black ones and they are amazing. Well, I received mine this week and the quality is so bad that I could not ever put them out in my house. They are going back. I will be returning the eggs also since I needed the stands to go with them. I haven’t opened the eggs, but reading the reviews, I am not hopeful of good quality. This saddens me since I haven’t had problems with quality in the past.

Poor Quality
I purchase quite a bit from grandinroad, along with other higher quality on-line stores. But recently I've been pretty disappointed in the quality of the products that are being shipped. My second set of White Pedestal Stands look worse than the first set! LOTS of paint imperfections and scuffs/scratches. These were not cheap, so I expected them to be new/perfect, but they are far from that.
Also recently ordered 3 large easter eggs - 1 out of 3 were defective. And 3 large presents (3 out of 3 were defective, not replaceable-out of stock).
Pretty disappointed lately. :(
