I don’t understand how another review posted that since there was not an actual rabbit head and you could tell when the light is on against the black shade- that is WAY overthinking this lamp! It is charming and funny just the way it is. I would highly recommend buying this.

They grace my small condo library and fit in nicely with my forest theme of birds, rabbits & foliage. They are definitely a show stopper and promote interesting discussions from my guests. I absolutely love them and putting a low-light bulb in them, makes for an intimate setting. Thrilled with the overall effect and tranquility of my reading book.

I guess I gave a 4 because I had to agree with one other review that mentioned you can see the base of the ears (basically letting you know there isn't a rabbit head). Still enough to keep and smile at.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stevenra from It’s true - not a great look view of the top It’s true - rabbit body base and ears hold the lamp shade in place. But, you have to really get close to the lamp to see structure of the lampshade. I bought this as a whimsical item. Wouldn’t recommend if it’s something you have to look at daily. Ours is in a ((basically unused ) game room - and makes me chuckle When i see it. Again, don’t buy it if you are using as a regular lamp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PaSue from Long wait for a cute lamp. I LOVE the lamp - it’s so darned cute and is the perfect size! What I didn’t love is how long I had to wait for it. I appreciate that I wasn’t charged until it shipped to me, but I had to wait 5 weeks for it.

Unless the lamp is on a high shelf or you stand more than 15 feet away from it you can see a gap between the top of the shade and the rabbit’s ears. The ears screw onto the top of the shade frame so there’s no way to lower them. I loved the idea of this lamp, so hoping to be able to find a shade that will have a lower frame that I can use. For the price of this lamp I shouldn’t have to be trying to make it work!

The inside of the shade is white so when you look at the lamp you can tell the ears are just attached to lamp. Doesn’t look anything like the picture. Now if you put it up somewhere high that may not be a problem but who wants a lamp that high plus then you’d see the white from the bottom. Straight on it’s cute any other way it looks stupid. Definitely not worth the price 🙁
