Wonderful rug
This is a beautiful, high quality rug. The colors are slightly muted since it’s on wool, which is perfect for today’s styles. Our home is near the coast, so the less saturated coloring of a wool yarn is ideal. I bought the green and blue rug and the colors seemed consistent with those shown online.

Great rug!
I first considered this rug last year when it was available in blue and green, but I thought I wanted something more vibrant. This year when I saw the red I was really intrigued but wondered if the color on my screen was true to life. I was also concerned that it wasn't plush. I finally ordered the runner to see the color and feel the texture. The color was true red and the texture while coarse was fine for our family room. I love the way the rug looks! It brightens and freshens the room and looks great with our light beige sofas. It is slightly smaller, 8 x 11, than our previous rug, and I think the proportions are better for the room. I would definitely recommend as long as you know you are getting a more casual look than a plush would give.

I love my new rug!
It is gorgeous. Colors are beautiful - blues, tan, cream, black, touch of gray. No scent or chemical smell when opened. It really is a statement piece. The only reason that might stop some from purchasing is that the design has just a touch of Aztec feeling to it. I love it and didn't see it that way, but two others in my family did. If you look at the center, the pattern climbs up to the top via "stairs" - so that is where they see it. And triangles surround the edge of the rug. My only advice to Grandin Road is to create 2x3 versions of all their rugs. That way, customers can buy a smaller version as a sample without shipping a large version of the rug they are interested in. Wrigley Area rug
The description of the rug on line is exactly what is looks like in person. It is a great quality hand hooked rug. Genuine wool and bound on the ends and has a woven backing. The thickness is about 1/2" The green main color is what I purchased and it is a beautiful rich green. It is trimmed in rust, dark royal blue, cream and some yellow ochre. It is a perfect addition for under our kitchen dining table. It is really beautiful.

Plush woven wool area rugs
Excellent quality! The two Wrigley Area rugs that were purchased have such plush, thick woven wool yarn, extremely comfortable to walk upon. So well constructed, and will last for years. The rugs' background color-scheme was more beige toned, then the "whitish tones" pictured in the catalog. Still so beautiful. Highly recommended!

A Wrigley rug/runner for front hall.

I ordered the green Wrigley rug with some trepidation. Worried about color, quality etc. But I relied on the favorable reviews, and I am VERY happy with the rug. It arrived within days (pad arrived a day or two later). Color as shown in catalog and nice and thick. Very nice and pretty. It fit perfectly in my living room. I had to get my neighbors to help roll it out as it was very heavy. Only ding is that the cleaning instructions say not to use a beater vacuum on it as it is looped weave. So we just have to be a little careful when cleaning. But I LOVE it.

To properly care for this item we recommend vacuuming regularly with upholstery attachment on lowest suction setting without the beater bar. It is common for loops or tufts to appear above the pile. Do not pull to remove; clip with scissors.
