Realistic
My mom bought this for me to add to my Large Halloween collection. I love it! No parties this year so not decorating. Due to covid. I’m sad. I will post pictures next year when I have it all up!! I love your products!! They are all well made!!

I bought this mirror last year and really enjoyed it. It scared people when they walked by it. The frame is plastic. It’s a decent size and small. Per the video, it shows the cracks appearing when activated only. The lights show up when activated only. When off it looks like a normal little mirror almost. It looks in person how it looks online. The quality could be a little bit better in my opinion. They could have used a legit 2 way mirror and it would have looked realistic. In person you can tell it is plastic during the day. At night the cheap details fade and shows a more pricy piece thankfully. That’s what counts in the end. You can’t really use it as an everyday mirror. The reflection is not best like that. It is made to see what is on the other side when lit. In the end I do recommend this mirror. I do think it is a bit over priced when at full asking price, but it’s still cute and still scares people who walk by it, serving it’s job ^^,

It realistic like the video or photos
I just received my mirror yesterday and was so excited to try, so I popped in the batteries and was immediately disappointed. Just as the other reviews (that I should have read first), the motion sensor activated the cracks, but you can see the mini lightbulbs right through and it makes the cracks look fake and the others that aren’t lit up yet visible too. The video shows light in the center of the cracks but they don’t look like perfect little bulbs and more like filtered light. I expected so much more from this display. It’s plastic and pretty small from the aspect of the photo. Too much money for such subpar Grandin road quality. I’m really surprised. I’ll keep it, but still very disappointed.

Not Realistic
The mirror is a cute idea but poorly executed. The cracking effect simply looks like LED lights turning on. Overall, the quality of the mirror wasn’t there; it felt similar to a plastic halloween decoration.
If ordering, I would suggest reviewing the dimensions. The mirror was smaller than expected.

Small and not triggered by motion
I got this a couple weeks ago. It’s definitely overpriced and very tiny. The motion sensor doesn’t work either. It continually goes off even when no one is around.

Looks like cheap plastic. I also should have read the dimensions, because it is small. I bought this with the prelim skeleton bust. Disappointed on both purchases. The bust shattered into many pieces.

Most Grandin Road products are high quality. This mirror is made of cheap plastic. It does not sit flush against the wall and the cracking mirror effect does not look like lighting (like the picture). So disappointed.

Sadly, Did Not Meet Expectations
Great concept and video shows blue lights, not white. Unfortunately, you can see all the fake cracks behind the mirror when just one turns on. However, the on/off button was nice and so was having a volume control. Lastly, it was expensive for a small mirror as the video deceives you thinking you are getting a larger mirror. I would buy again, even at the price I paid for but it would need to be larger and actually more realistic!

This item is so disappointing! In daylight - it looks nothing like a cracked mirror, merely has white lights that appear with a staggered effect. Took the mirror into a completely dark room hoping it might be better - not in any way. It also is much smaller in size than I was anticipating from the photos on the site. Will be returning.
