Does it come with the option timer and how do you connect multiple pieces
Thank you for your interest in our Hadley Holiday Cordless Garland. This item does include a 6 hour one 18 hour off timer and they are not able to be connected, you could tie them together with ribbon or zip tie them together if you prefer.

What is the difference between 168794 and 169090? Are the lights white or multi-colored? Does it lie flat on the mantel or need tape or hooks to hold it in place? Is one 6' length enough for a 78" mantel. It looks bushy and full in your circular ad.

The difference between this and item # 169090 is that they are different collections, and different looking they are both 6" garlands. You can use command hooks, screw hooks or nails to hang on your mantel. It is your personal preference for how to hang them.

How many garlands did it take to go around the whole door and sidelites that is displayed in your picture? I’m thinking possibly 3 is needed since they are only 6 feet long.

A gorgeous, eye catching Christmasy Garland
I ordered 4 of these garlands to replace my 10 year old garlands from grandinroad. When my order arrived, honestly I was worried. The box that the 4 garlands came in was much much smaller than I was expecting. So, a little upset, I opened the box to find 4 small boxes each containing 1 of the garlands. Now getting even more upset at the thought that I just spent all that money on these garlands and this is what I get?!? So I continued to open one of the garland boxes figuring I would be sending this order back. With the 1st garland box opened I pulled out the garland. Again, I was disappointed. My husband even came into the room and was shocked at the size of this garland compared to the ones we bought 10 years or so ago. So I gently unfolded the garland and began to arrange the garland from the top and slowly worked my way down. I wasn’t even 1/4 of the way down before I was amazed! This garland opens up to a gorgeous, full setting. I was so very relieved to say the least. Even my husband was shocked at how full and beautiful it came out. I even laid the fully arranged garland next to the box it came in we were shocked at how this fully open and set garland could have arrived in that box. So once I had opened and arranged or “fluffed” the garlands, put in the 2 C batteries each require, they were ready to be hung. So outside we went to our front door and hung them. People were actually slowing down in their cars to look at them and a couple even stopped to say how beautiful they were. We were so very pleased. Especially since Christmas is our favorite holiday to decorate the house. These garlands, at first, may seem like a total waste of good money, but if you take your time and spread out the branches, fluff the depth and arrange the picks (berries, branches, cones) so that they extend out to give more depth or width, you will be very pleased with this garland. As much as we loved our old garland set, I have to say these new ones are our new favorite. Once set to your style these garlands are absolutely gorgeous and stunningly beautiful. And the timer lights are a major plus. I and my husband would definitely recommend this garland to anyone looking for an eye catching addition to their holiday decorating.
