It does shed quite a bit, but this is true of all hand tufted rugs I’ve owned and I know the shedding subsides after a few months of frequent vacuuming. We love the warm, rustic feeling this rug adds to our room! Highly recommend!

I was tired of a rug with faded, muted browns, beiges and creams and this is a much richer look to me. The only reason for 4 stars is because even without using the beater bar I still have a little pulling out of the fibers.
