In the photos, it looks like there is a darker 3-sided section on the border area, but it’s just on one end of the rug Is that accurate? Seems odd.

Better then expected-WOW
Quality is fantastic, I am buying rugs from Grandin from now on. Shipping was fast, we put in the hall right away and with the pad it has not moved off the hardwood. Color is even better in person-but, the red just a tad darker than picture.

Rug is better than the picture! Rich color. Nice thickness! When it arrived I had to weight down the corners for a few days so they didn’t curl. Worth being persistent with that so you don’t trip and the curling of the corners becomes permanent

Perfect for my new home - purchased 5!
I originally purchased the runner in blue for my garage entryway. Then, realizing how well it wears, I purchased the red runner for my kitchen area. Pretty pattern, wears really well ... so far; they look great and will not show dirt. My total purchase was 4 for the entryway + kitchen--all in red pattern ... look great. The blue has been relegate to another section of our home. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you purchase one of these rugs.

We received the rug within a few days of ordering- very surprised at the rapid shipping.
The color is what we had hoped for. Based on some reviews, and catalog photos, we were concerned the red would be too pale, but that is not the case. The red is deep, dark and while approaching burgundy, it is red. The other colors blend well with a very pleasing pattern. A very nice office addition reflecting what we wanted. Good quality, the right color and appears to be durable.
