Using AA Duracell batteries, with the 6 hours timer, how many days do the batteries last?

Are they waterproof? Live in southern Louisiana and it rains a lot.

Wonderful Pumpkins
These are one of our favorite Halloween decorations. They look so pretty at night and have held up so well over the years. We get compliments on them too. I purchased these to replace two of the pumpkins I've had for six years now but it is worth it.
