The lamps are very nice but my first one came brand new packaged properly and flawless. My second lamp had been at someone else’s home and was just sort of thrown back in the box and was a bit smudged with someone’s fingerprints. I cleaned it up and decided to keep it rather than the hassle of repackaging it.

WOW! Beautiful
I bought this lamp for my mother witching secretly she would not like it an tell me to keep it instead, but NOPE she loved it! It was the perfect addition to her bedroom. I know most of the pics showed it in the living room... but is works out great!

Unique and Beautiful
I’m picky about my lighting. These lamps are sized just right for a tv console. They are very unique and at the same time simple and classic. The wood accents with white glass are a beautiful combination. I get many compliments on these York table lamps.

Beautiful Lamp
This lamp really makes a statement. I love the height of the shade compared to the base. I bought this lamp for my bedside table, it was exactly the look I was going for. I plan on putting a task light on the other side of the bed.

When the lamp is turned on does the shade still maintain it's white color or (like many lampshades) does it become more of an off white/yellowish color?
Thank you for your interest in the York Table Lamp. Whether or not the lamp shade will appear to have a warm cream color when the light is on will depend on the type of light bulb you choose to use in this lamp. This lamp takes a 150-watt (or equivalent) max. Using a standard incandescent light will cause a warm glow, but using an equivalent cool white LED or fluorescent bulb will not cause this.
